Poor Daniel has been stuffed up with the cold and a throat/chest infection now for a few days. He has found sleeping at night difficult but the anti-biotics are starting to work and he's a bit brighter today. Yesterday we had a visit from Mels friend Julie, husband Luc and son Hugo who were over from France for the festive season. See pics here and here.

Happy first Christmas to Daniel from Mum, Dad, Jenny and Kirstine! We had a lovely time down at Gran Haswells house although the wee man was a bit under the weather with the start of a cold. Pics 1 2 3

16th Dec 2005 [Age: 11w]
Danny now regularly sleeps 6-8 hours per night and 2 days ago he got his first taste of solids which he is demolishing with great gusto! We recorded him yesterday making valiant attempts at crawling.

14th Dec 2005 [Age: 10w5d][w:16lb 7.5oz]
When matey-boy went to the clinic today he weighed-in at 16lb 7.5oz, almost 2 pounds heavier than when he was last weighed a month ago, not surprising really as he has started fitting into his "6 to 9 month old" wardrobe. He was also very interested in the what was happening around him at the clinic including observing the other babies which he found fascinating and was very exciteed when he got attention from the staff there :) Mels considering taking him to a Mother & Toddler group for regular bursts of company an stimulation although she doesnt like the thought of all the boring comittee meetings about biscuits and fund-raising!

12th Dec 2005 [Age: 10weeks 3 days]
Daniel had a visit from his other auntie, dads sister, Gill who was similarly impressed by his growth and handsomeness.

8th Dec 2005 [Age: 9w6d]
Today Daniel got his first innoculations and was very well behaved, only crying a little at the second jag but recovered quickly and was all smiles again for the receptionist outside.

7th Dec 2005 [Age: 9weeks 5days]
Auntie Vals visit went great! She couldn't get over Daniels size and was very taken with the little charmer.

3rd Dec 2005 [Age: 9weeks 1day]
Daniels auntie Val is coming up later to visit! We are all looking forward to her reaction at seeing her nephew for the first time. :)
