24th Jan 2007 [Age: Almost 16 months]

Erm...Well Ok..Sorry. Been kinda short on the updates here havent I?

Well as you will know, the end of the year is a rather busy time and it's taken me till now to get the photos updated here. I've added more photos for Aug06, Oct06, Nov06, Dec06 & Jan07

So heres whats been going on:

In August last year we had a big family get together with Daniels grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins. We all had a lovely time. We just don't see the family from down south often enough! Auntie Val couldnt make it on that occasion but brought her now husband-to-be up to see us in September. It was great to see Val and also to meet Big Dan who hit it off with wee Dan from the start.

Gran and grandpa were up just before Christmas. Unfortunately Daniel had managed to give himself a black eye a few days before so he didnt really look his best in those pics (poor wee man)

We had a lovely Christmas and it was just a delight to see the excitement on daniels face when he saw all his new toys. He loves his ride-on train that he got from his grandparents and also his farm which he has a great time playing with and making all the farmyard animal noises.

It's now Jan 07 and he's growing FAST. Hes just 4cm short of 3 ft which means he's likely to be over 6ft tall when he's fully grown.

He is still the life and soul of the house, laughing and joking constantly (as long as his tummy is kept full hehe)

I'm sure Mel will get me to add to this shortly...... :)

31/10/06 Halloween with Kirstine and her two friends
10/12/06 Attended his second cousin Daniel Campbell's dedication in Motherwell and was very well behaved.
21/12/06 At the mother and toddler Christmas party where he played "Pass the parcel" and met Santa who gave him a water toy.
25/12/06 Daniel tucked into his home-made trifle at his Christmas dinner at Auntie Claires where he sayed overnight away from home for the first time.
04/12/07 Daniel went to the doctor because he had a high temperature (38.7deg), bad cough, sleepy and wheezy because of a viral upper respiratory infection.
16/01/07 Mum and dad decide it's time Daniel has a "big boys" haircut

Words Daniel can now say:
Mum, Dad, Bab (Kirstine), NeNe (Jenny), Ba (Banana), Juice, MORE!, MahWah (pussycats), Hiya, BaBa (Bye Bye), Teddy, Door, HoHoHo (Santa), Shoe, Baa (Bag), Apple, Ouch, BoPo (Bottle), No, Yes, Boo (for hide and seek), DiDi (Dummy), Yeuch (Thanks to the girls for that one), Brrrr (cold)

Animal noises:
Elephant, Lion, Fish, Chicken (says bokbok when he's eating it hehe), Cow, Sheep, Snake, Dog, Cat
